Anil Kumar Bodwal

Anil Kumar Bodwal is a self-taught art enthusiast and entrepreneur whose passion for Raja Ravi Varma inspired his journey in the art world. In 1999, he founded Bhavageetham in Vellayambalam as a gallery showcasing reproductions of Ravi Varma’s works. Over the years, the gallery evolved into a full-fledged art space featuring home décor, sculptures, curios, and other artistic objects. His extensive travels across India and interactions with artists and diverse art practices greatly influenced his perspective. He also explored cinema, working behind the camera as an assistant to a cinematographer. Bhavageetham has expanded to branches in Guruvayur and Kozhikode and collaborates with the Art for Life Foundation to organise art camps, with proceeds supporting disabled children.
