R. N. Pasricha (1926–2002) was an Indian artist best known for his watercolour landscapes, particularly those depicting the Himalayan ranges. Born in Amritsar and raised in Delhi, he studied painting in night classes under artist Abani Sen after graduating in science. His early works consisted of sensitive black-line sketches, gradually developing into landscapes with cubistic elements. Influenced by Nicholas Roerich, Pasricha explored warm and cool tones to define forms and objects. Over five decades, the Himalayas remained his primary subject, often inspiring arduous journeys to paint en plein air. He was recognised in the Limca Book of Records for painting Himalayan peaks at high altitudes. In 2006, he was posthumously awarded the Kala Vibhushan by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi.
