Prem Kumar Pant

Rajan Kumar Pant (b. 1976) is a contemporary artist from Nepal with an academic background in Fine Arts and Sociology. He received his MFA from the Department of Fine Arts, Tribhuvan University, and a Master’s in Sociology from Tri-Chandra College, TU. Pant has played an active role in Nepal’s art community, serving as Vice President of the Artist Society of Nepal from 2000 to 2004 and as an Executive Member of the Young Artists’ Group from 1995 to 2007. He is also the founder of Altamira School of Visual Arts and Zero Century Fine Arts Foundation. His recognitions include the Araniko National Award (2016), Best Nature Artist (2017), and a Special Award at the National Exhibition (2018). His exhibitions span collaborative and solo presentations since 1995.
