P B Gavani

P. B. Gavani (b. 1967) is a self-taught photographer whose artistic practice is shaped by curiosity, introspection, and a constant search for deeper meaning. Drawn to music, cinema, literature, lectures, and spiritual study, he looks beyond the obvious to explore untold stories and unexplored perspectives. Gavani continually develops his photographic skills through extensive reading and informal education, seeking new experiences, images, and creative possibilities. He has recently expanded his practice into Video Art, combining moving images and sound with photography to create narratives that may remain unfinished in a still image. Gavani has also curated photography exhibitions for galleries in Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai, bringing together diverse approaches to fine art photography.
