Laxma Goud (born 21 August 1940) is an Indian painter, printmaker, and draughtsman known for his distinctive depictions of rural life. Born in Nizampur, Telangana, he developed an early interest in traditional crafts, including leather puppetry and terracotta ornamentation. He studied at the Government College of Fine Arts and Architecture, Hyderabad, and later trained in mural painting under K. G. Subramanyan at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Baroda. Goud is recognised for his drawings, etchings, aquatints, gouache, pastels, sculpture, and glass paintings. His early works often explored rural traditions, sexuality, and fantasy, while goats became a recurring motif. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2016.
