Nirupam Ghosh

Nirupam Ghosh (b. 1967) is a self-taught photographer whose artistic practice is driven by curiosity, introspection, and a search for untold stories. Influenced by music, cinema, literature, lectures, and spiritual study, he continually explores new ways of understanding life and visual expression. Ghosh has developed his photographic skills through extensive reading and informal education, seeking greater exposure to diverse moments and creative possibilities. More recently, he has expanded into Video Art, combining moving images and sound with photography to complete stories that may remain unfinished in a still image. He is also the promoter of Wonderwall.co.in, described as India’s first website dedicated to fine art photography. Ghosh has curated photography exhibitions for galleries in Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Chennai.
