Pramod Gaikwad

Pramod Gaikwad (b. 1975) is a contemporary Indian painter and printmaker known for his evolution from figurative and mixed-media works towards spiritual, non-representational abstraction. Born in Latur, Maharashtra, he completed his B.F.A. in Painting from the Government College of Art, Aurangabad, in 1997. His artistic journey was significantly influenced by his association with Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal. Gaikwad’s practice explores light, inner peace, and the tenderness of human experience through colour, printmaking techniques, and contrasts of light on raw canvas. His notable series include Do Not Relate with Anything, but Relate with You, Zero Side Effect, and Migration Instinct. His exhibitions include solo shows at Alliance Française de Bhopal and Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi, along with numerous group exhibitions across India.
