Bhawana Choudhary Chandra is a contemporary Indian artist known for her delicate, abstract paintings. Her technique involves fine, delicate forms and skilful blending of colours, producing a soft feeling on white canvases. Her black works evoke the darkness of night, while her bright ones suggest a sunny day. She has a distinctive penchant for materialising abstract forms, layering geometric shapes with folds of texture and confident brushstrokes that remain soft and soothing to the eye. The vibrant hues and innovative tones pierce through juxtaposed mature textures, played imaginatively with colour. She has held 20 solo and 30 group exhibitions, received a Junior Fellowship from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture (2000–02), and her painting featured on the cover of SPAN magazine in 2010. Her works are held in collections including Dhoomimal Art Centre, Bharat Bhawan Bhopal, and CIPLA Mumbai.
